Organized Social Networking

The Internet is all about social networking very much like life in the physical realm. All my life, I’ve known people who love God but can’t abide organized religion. That’s how I’m feeling about social networking online. I like it…I just don’t care for it in any of its organized variants.

The only social network I’ve embraced isn’t a formal one. It’s Gmail. Someone writes, we start a conversation, they’re added to my address book, and I consider that person a friend.

So please, tech community, build something amazing. We don’t need another social network.
