I use my blog and the podcast as a therapeutic release. If friends and nice people read or listen cool, I guess, but I'm not asking you to.

You guys seem to make a great team that's why I think Geek Brief is such a high quality product. Which is why I bought pixels. Good luck to both of you and hopefully will run into you guys when you hit Colorado!

After seven years of marriage my wife Gerri and I had our first son and it doesn't change your world, but only for the better. Don't let your day job of Geekbrief become your life. I would much rather have on my tombstone, here lies Randy father of Jackson than - here lies Randy it had a website and shot videos.

If the two of you have never had an argument in nine years, you aren't the arguing type. Children that you adore won't change that. What kids will change is your capacity to love. You discover that they are the living embodiment of everything that matters, especially your faith.

I spent the first decade of my life in several motorhomes, the most memorable being a Newl called the Rambling B. I am sure that a child would augment your dreams rather then stifle them. I learned more from traveling the states in then I ever did in school. So if you ever want to know about child rearing on the road from a child's perspective let me know. I still remember meeting Doug Hennning's tigers he used in the magic show. You find all sorts of things in RV parks.

Thanks for opening up comments Neil. I'm going to keep praying on this. I really think you and Cali would make wonderful parents, since love is the most important component in raising a child (though a reasonable amount of money does help, I'm not disagreeing with Cali there.) I think you and Cali are two of the friendliest people I have never met (yet). Can't wait for the Big Trip. My partner and I will be there when you get to New York or Pennsylvania (or both).

I've been reading your blog for a few weeks now. I love the fact that it's basically about whatever interests you at the moment, which is really cool.

I'm so happy for you two! I am glad that you feel comfortable enough to share your world with your GeekBrief.tv friends. I truly hope that I can meet both of you someday soon. It is funny the things we have in common. My husband was raised in a baptist family and spend many years on a farm growing tomatoes! I was raised (like Cali) in an Italian home. I agree with Dave you are two of my favorite people. I wish you all the luck with the trip and potential baby planning :) Congrats!

You know you guys are very high on my list of favorite people in the world. It's a great priviledge to support any of your endeavors, and this one is very special, indeed. We'll get this done. The world will be a finer place with a Neal/Cali child in it. I want to see that world.

Ah, thanks for reminding me Daynah. I also wanted to say how excited I am for both of you! The Big Trip will be an experience that you'll cherish, a shared memory that will stay with your for your entire lifetime.

I plan to be on the road this summer as well, and I have a feeling our paths will cross.

Have you decided on bus vs RV yet?

And I thought all this time you didn't want to hear comments from us. :)

Just wanted to wish you good luck on your Big Trip and your baby venture! My husband and I may be on the same path soon. We're not traveling all 50 states, but did enough traveling this year to start thinking about starting a family.

First of all, THANK YOU for deciding to turn on comments. It's great to be able to give you feedback here.

As I said on twitter, thank you for writing this post and giving us feedback on your situation. I can see this post being a boon for PBP in general.
