I use my blog and the podcast as a therapeutic release. If friends and nice people read or listen cool, I guess, but I'm not asking you to.

Love Southern Gospel.

FYI, I was taught piano by Rosa Nell Speer (Powell)

It was always weird to have Harold Lane in the next room listening to my pecking on the keys.

Okay, check it out, dawg... it was a good choice for your voice, but there were a few parts that were pitchy. I like it though -- you know I'm a fan, right?

I think doing P&W or Gospel on American Idol is a little gutsy. I loved last go around when Mandisa sang Shackles by Mary Mary. I go to a Pentecostal church that tends toward upbeat gospel (like Mary Mary) and contemporary (like Avalon,) but every once in a while, someone trots out something different. One of our many groups just did this song about 3 weeks ago! I must say, you are a man with a very interesting background (talented too.)
