Two times in my life, I’ve rented Nurse Betty. Then I bought it. Each time, I was really looking for Me, Myself and Irene, one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies. Except for the year they were released, 2000, and Renée Zellweger, the two films aren’t similar.

One of the best movies I’ve seen lately is The Last Mimzy.  I don’t know why it didn’t do better.  I think it’s better than E.T.

Why do I feel like Peggy Hill when I blog?

Tonight, we watched a documentary called Inside Deep Throat.  It’s about the porn movie from the 70s.  It was good and explains why I am a libertarian.

Now we’re watching a movie called Flannel Pajamas.  Would this be better as a Tweet?

Children of Men

Watched this movie after reading rave after rave review. I thought it was craptacular.

I was reluctant to see it to begin with because I’m not one for the whole post-modern disaster genre. Reviews talked about how beautiful this film is. Those reviewers need some personal help. The only thing good, perhaps even great, about the film is Michael Caine. Of course, he’s great in everything. If you envision a dismal future for the planet, you’ll probably like this movie, but if expect the best, you’ll feel sorry for the people who imagined such a sad prospect.
